Since the launch of the Victorian State Government's $25.5 million Better Pathways Strategy in 2005, much has been achieved towards reducing women's offending, women's imprisonment, women's reoffending, and women's victimisation.
The two major elements of the Better Pathways Strategy are the $7.2 million Better Pathways Building Program and the $18.2 million investment in programs and services to support women prisoners and offenders. The following is a summary of our progress to date across a range of projects and initiatives.
