Justice Health pays participating pharmacies a subsidy for Opioid Substitution Therapy:

Suboxone/Methadone; $5 (excluding GST) per dose for up to 30 doses provided over four weeks
Long Acting Injectable Buprenorphine $20 (excluding GST) per dose for up to 30 days

The prisoner has up to two weeks from the date of their release to commence treatment through a pharmacy.
