Disability Framework Report Cards

Launching the Corrections Victoria Disability Framework in 2007, the Victorian State Government made a commitment towards tackling the significant issue of offenders with a disability. With rates of re-offending higher for this population than for other offenders, a more customised response was required.

At the midway point in the Framework's cycle, Corrections Victoria released the Disability Framework Report Card - Half Way Mark. This Report Card presents a summary of the progress of the Disability Framework initiatives to December 2008.

The Corrections Victoria Disability Framework 2010–12 demonstrates a continuing organisational commitment to tackle the ongoing challenges which contribute to elevated recidivism among this specific group of offenders.

Now at the midway point of the new Framework's cycle, Corrections Victoria released the Disability Framework Report Card No. 2 - Half Way Mark. This Report Card presents a summary of the progress of the Disability Framework initiatives to August 2011.
